Offshore Teams for Accounting Firms
Stop turning away work because you can’t hire fast enough.
SaaS Direct builds dedicated offshore teams for accounting firms across audit, accounting, tax, risk, technology and advisory. Your workflow, your systems, your review. Fully staffed in weeks, not quarters.
15,000+ financial system migrations · Big Four trained teams · Trusted by leading national and regional firms
Figures as of August 2026
The hiring math stopped working.
The talent pipeline into public accounting has been shrinking for a decade. Salaries went up, headcount did not, and the work did not slow down. Most firms are managing the gap by asking their best people to absorb it, which is how they lose their best people.
You can’t hire
Open roles sit unfilled for months. When you finally hire, you’re paying above band for someone who needs six months of training before they’re billable.
You’re turning away work
Good clients are waiting, and some of them stop waiting. Growth is capped by capacity, not by demand.
Your seniors are carrying it
Reviewers are doing preparer work. Partners are doing reviewer work. That is how a busy season becomes a resignation.
Offshoring solves this, but only if the team is trained, managed and secured properly. Most firms have tried it once and been burned. Here is how we do it differently.
We don’t just staff your accounting function. We built it.
Most offshoring firms send you people who then have to learn your systems. We have executed more than 15,000 financial system migrations across QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Sage 100 and 300, and Microsoft Dynamics. Our offshore teams are trained on those platforms before they ever touch your file, because implementing them is our other business.
That means no 90-day ramp on the tech. No tickets asking how your chart of accounts is structured. And when the system itself is the bottleneck, the same partner can fix that too.

QuickBooks Online and Enterprise, Intuit Enterprise Suite, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Sage 100 and 300, Microsoft Dynamics, Xero. Plus the workflow layer: Karbon, Canopy, Financial Cents, Dext, Bill, Expensify.
One team, not a vendor
Your offshore staff work in your systems, your email, your file structure and your review cadence. You assign the work and you approve it. They operate as an extension of your team, because that is the only model that produces reviewable output.
Big Four trained, credentialed talent
CA, ACCA, MBA, BTech and CISA qualifications, trained under Big Four methodology with structured internal programmes. Reviewer-grade people, not throughput.
Six functions, one contract
Add a SOC 2 readiness specialist or an FP&A analyst without running a new vendor procurement. One MSA, one point of contact, one security posture.
Six functions. One delivery team.
Start with one seat in one function. Expand across the practice when it works. No new contracts, no new onboarding, no new security review.

Hire a role, not a headcount number.
Every seat is a named professional who works an overnight shift against your business day and reports into your team. You interview them before they start. On an FTE, that person is dedicated to your firm alone. If the fit is wrong, we replace them at no cost.

Two ways to engage.
Start with Pay as You Go while the work proves out. Move to a Full Time Equivalent when you want a dedicated person on your team.
Full Time Equivalent (FTE)
A dedicated professional assigned to your firm alone, working in your systems and under your review.
- You interview and choose, with free replacement if the fit is wrong
- 1,400 or 1,600 annual hours of minimum commitment, your choice
- Billed monthly in advance, with incremental billing at year end for hours above the minimum
- Unused hours are not refunded or carried forward
Pay as You Go (PAYG)
Capacity without an annual commitment, so you can try the service before moving to an FTE.
- No annual hours commitment
- Rates are slightly higher than the FTE model
- Shared resourcing rather than a named dedicated individual
- Move to an FTE whenever you are ready
Either party can end an engagement with thirty days’ written notice. Hours already billed under an FTE commitment are not refunded.
Most firms run one full-time equivalent for less than half the fully loaded cost of an equivalent US hire. We scope the exact number on the call, because it depends on role, seniority and volume.
From first call to productive team in about four weeks.
No lengthy procurement, no minimum team size, no obligation to scale before you have seen the work.
Scoping call
We map the roles, volumes, software and review model. You leave with a written recommendation on seats and structure, whether or not you proceed.
Team match
You receive shortlisted profiles with credentials and relevant experience. You interview. You choose. Nobody is assigned to your account without your approval.
Security & access
MSA and individual NDAs executed. Background verification confirmed. Access provisioned through your controls: VDI or VPN, MFA, least-privilege roles.
Ramp
Two to four weeks of shadowing under your review. We build the SOP documentation as we go, so the process survives any individual leaving.
Steady state
Weekly check-in, monthly performance review, quarterly capacity planning. Scale up for busy season, scale back after. Thirty days’ notice, either direction.
Security & compliance
Your client data never leaves your environment.
Our teams work inside your systems through controlled remote access. No local downloads, no data at rest on offshore machines, no shadow copies. You keep custody of the data and you keep the audit trail, exactly as you would with an employee down the hall.
Read our security postureNo local data storage
Work happens in a hardened virtual desktop or through your VPN. Local drives, USB ports, printing and clipboard transfer are disabled by policy and by technical control.
Least-privilege access
Every team member gets the minimum access their role requires, provisioned through your identity system with MFA. Access is documented, reviewed quarterly and revoked same-day on role change.
Background-verified staff
Identity, education, employment and criminal record verification before any team member is assigned. Individual confidentiality agreements, not just a company-level NDA.
Secure facilities
Access-controlled delivery floors, CCTV, clean-desk enforcement, no personal devices on the operations floor.
US firm obligations covered
Alignment with IRS Publication 4557 safeguards and your firm’s WISP. We provide the documentation your peer reviewer will ask for, and a §7216 consent template for tax engagements.
The questions partners actually ask.
Is my client data safe offshore?
Do I have to tell my clients I’m using an offshore team?
What hours does the team work?
What if the person isn’t a good fit?
What’s the minimum commitment?
Find out what your firm could take on with two more people.
Thirty minutes. We map your roles, volumes and software, and you leave with a written recommendation on team structure. No obligation, and no pitch deck.
