FAQ

The questions partners actually ask

In the order they usually come up. If yours is not here, ask it on the call and we will answer it straight, including when the answer is no.

Security & compliance

Is my client data safe?
Your data never leaves your environment. Our teams work inside your systems through a hardened virtual desktop or your VPN, with local storage, USB, printing and clipboard transfer disabled. Every team member is background-verified and signs an individual confidentiality agreement. Access is least-privilege, MFA-enforced, documented and reviewed quarterly.
Do I have to tell my clients I’m using an offshore team?
For US tax engagements, yes. IRC §7216 requires written client consent before taxpayer information is disclosed to a preparer outside the United States, and the consent has specific format requirements. We provide a compliant consent template and guidance on when it applies. For non-tax work the requirement is different and usually governed by your engagement letter, which we will help you review. Most firms find this is a five-minute conversation with clients, not an obstacle.

Working with the team

What hours does the team work?
We run an overnight model. You hand off at the end of your day, typically around 6pm, and the completed work is on your desk with a written handover note by the time you start the next one, typically by 8am. There is a short live handover window at the start of your business day for the stand-up, questions and anything that needs a real-time answer.
Who manages the team day to day?
You do. You assign the work, set the priorities and review the output, exactly as with an in-house employee. We handle employment, payroll, training, performance management and replacement. Where you engage a team rather than a single person, there is also an embedded team lead who handles first-level supervision and quality control before work reaches you.
What if the person isn’t a good fit?
You interview every candidate before they are assigned, so poor fits are rare. If one happens anyway, tell us and we replace the seat at no cost, with the SOP documentation from the ramp period transferring to the replacement so you are not starting from zero.
How quickly can someone start?
Profiles within seven business days of the scoping call. Security and access provisioning takes another three. Ramp is two to four weeks depending on complexity. Most firms have a productive seat inside thirty days.

Systems & capability

What software do you work in?
Yours. QuickBooks Online and Enterprise, Intuit Enterprise Suite, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Sage 100 and 300, Microsoft Dynamics, Xero, plus the workflow layer: Karbon, Canopy, Financial Cents, Dext, Bill, Expensify, Slack, Teams. If you run something less common, we have almost certainly migrated a client onto it.
How is this different from a staffing agency?
A staffing agency finds you a person and invoices you. We build a delivery function: trained on your systems before they start, documented as they work, backed by a bench so a resignation is our problem and not yours, and covered by a single security and compliance posture your peer reviewer can inspect. Also, we implemented your accounting system. No agency can say that.

Commercials

What’s the minimum commitment?
Two models. A Full Time Equivalent commits to 1,400 or 1,600 annual hours for a dedicated person, billed monthly in advance. Hours above the minimum are billed at year end, and unused hours are not refunded or carried forward. If you want to test the model with less exposure, start on Pay as You Go, which has no annual commitment and a slightly higher rate.
Can I scale down after busy season?
Yes, with thirty days’ written notice in either direction. On an FTE the annual hours commitment still applies and hours already billed are not refunded, so many firms hold a baseline FTE team year-round and add Pay as You Go capacity from January through April.
What does it cost?
It depends on role, seniority and volume, so we scope it on the call rather than publishing a rate card that would be wrong for most firms. What we can tell you: firms typically run a dedicated seat for well under half the fully loaded cost of an equivalent US hire, and you carry no recruitment, benefits, or unused-capacity cost.

About us

Where are your teams based?
Our delivery centres are in Gurugram and Kolkata, India, operating since 2018, with client-facing leadership in the US. Teams serve clients across the US, UK, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, Cyprus, Curacao, South Africa and Australia.
How do I get out if it isn’t working?
Thirty days’ written notice after the initial term, either direction. No exit fee and no wind-down charge. All SOP documentation built during the engagement is handed over in editable format and belongs to your firm. Your data was never on our systems, so there is nothing to return, and access revocation is documented for your access register. The full exit terms are published on the How It Works page.

Still have a question? Ask it on the scoping call. Thirty minutes, no obligation, and no pitch deck.
