QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise Platinum

Enterprise is the top of the QuickBooks Desktop line. Platinum is the inventory tier. Bought through SaaS Direct, it is configured by the same team that migrates your data into it.

What Platinum includes

• Everything in Gold, including Enhanced Payroll.
• Advanced Inventory. Multi-location tracking, barcode scanning, FIFO costing, serial and lot numbers, and bin location tracking.
• Advanced Pricing. Rule-based price rules by customer, item, class or date.
• Priority Circle support and included version upgrades.

Who it is for

Manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors carrying stock across locations, where inventory costing and price rules are the reason to be on Enterprise at all.

Annual subscription

Billed once a year. The annual term is the cheaper way to hold Enterprise if you know you are staying on it, and it locks your seat count for twelve months.

Where it runs

This SKU is the licence on its own. Enterprise installs on your own network by default. If you want the file reachable from anywhere, add SaaS Direct Cloud Hosting and we will configure the file, the add-ons and the backups.

Choosing between the tiers

Silver is the licence. Gold adds Enhanced Payroll. Platinum adds Advanced Inventory and Advanced Pricing, which is the reason most manufacturers and distributors move up. Diamond adds Assisted Payroll and a Salesforce CRM connector. If you are not sure, book a call and we will size it against your transaction volume and user count rather than sell you up.

Moving data in

If you are coming from Sage, NetSuite, Dynamics, an older QuickBooks Desktop file or QuickBooks Online, the licence is the easy part. We scope the data work separately with a fixed price and a named go-live date, and full history is reconciled to your last close rather than restarted with opening balances.
