How the engagement works

From first call to productive team in about four weeks.

01

Scoping call

Day 0 · 30 min

We map the roles, volumes, software and review model. You leave with a written recommendation, whether or not you proceed.

02

Team match

Days 1–7

Shortlisted profiles with credentials and relevant experience. You interview. You choose. Nobody is assigned without your approval.

03

Security & access

Days 7–10

MSA and individual NDAs executed, background verification confirmed, access provisioned through your controls with MFA and least privilege.

04

Ramp

Days 10–30

Ramp runs alongside a live engagement wherever possible. Your seat shadows a section, prepares it under review, and takes ownership once your senior signs off on the quality. Most audit seats are carrying independent sections by the second engagement.

05

Steady state

Day 30 onward

Weekly check-in, monthly performance review, quarterly capacity planning. Scale up for busy season, scale back after. Thirty days’ notice, either direction.

Your client data never leaves your environment

Work happens inside your systems through a hardened virtual desktop or your VPN. No local downloads, no data at rest offshore, no shadow copies. Every team member is background-verified and signs an individual confidentiality agreement. Access is least-privilege and MFA-enforced.

Questions about audit & assurance

Will offshore staff appear in our audit documentation?
That is your call and your firm’s policy. Many firms document offshore preparers exactly as they document any staff preparer, with the reviewer sign-off staying onshore. We provide the credential documentation and the training records your peer reviewer or PCAOB inspector will ask for.
Can they work in our audit software directly?
Yes. Seats work inside your CaseWare, TeamMate, Suralink or equivalent through your controlled access, using your firm’s templates and naming conventions. Nothing is prepared in a parallel system and imported.
How do you handle independence and conflicts?
Every team member completes your independence confirmation before assignment and is re-confirmed annually or on engagement change. We maintain the conflict-check register and will not staff a person across engagements where your policy prohibits it.
Do they have Big Four audit experience?
Many do, and our training programme is built on Big Four methodology. You interview every candidate before assignment and see their full credential history, so you are assessing the actual person rather than an averaged claim.
What happens during busy season?
Scale up. Most audit firms run a baseline team year-round and add associate seats from December through April. Capacity planning happens quarterly so the additional seats are trained before you need them, not during the crunch.
